History

  • Primary school in 1961. High school in Sam Thong in 1964-1967. Secondary school in Dong Doke, Vientiane in 1967-1972.
  • Columbo Plan Student from Laos to Australia in 1973. Qualified with BS (specializing in histology and clinical chemistry) from the Tasmanian College of Advanced Education. Worked as a laboratory technician for the Commonwealth Laboratory and then as a laboratory scientist for the Royal Hobart Hospital until I took a redundancy in 1996.
